Join the Morehead Planetarium & Science Center and Raleigh Astronomy Club for a skywatching event to view the Perseid Meteor Shower at Dix Park on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022! Fun fact: The Perseids are the result of debris left over by Comet Swift-Tuttle on its periodic trips around the sun. There will be telescopes to get the best views, plus tunes from the Triangle Sax Ensemble. Sounds pretty lit!
