If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about wine without feeling like you needed a sommelier certification to walk in the door, this is your kind of event.

Casual Conversations with Wine is happening Saturday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. at (ish) delicatessen, the tucked-away gem inside Person Street Pharmacy in downtown Raleigh.

Hosted by owner, sommelier, and chef Matt Fern and meetup organizer Joe Delmonico, this intimate tasting is designed to be educational, engaging, and — most importantly — approachable. Think guided tasting, casual Q&A, and real conversation, not intimidating wine jargon.
