Admit it: you’ve noticed the massive, midcentury Masonic Lodge on the way to Crabtree Valley Mall more times than you can count.
This Saturday, June 20, 2026, NCModernist is giving you a rare pass to finally step inside this striking architectural marvel. Designed by architect Leslie Boney, the building has fueled the curiosity of local drivers for decades, and while regular tickets are completely sold out, they are opening the doors for last-minute walk-ins during the final hour.
Sponsored by Charles Boney of LS3P, the tour welcomes interior and exterior photography, so charge your phone. Just leave the strollers and snacks at home, and definitely hit the restroom before you arrive—there are no public facilities on-site, but the design inspiration alone is worth the trip.
📍 2921 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh
📅 Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. (Walk-ins welcome 1–2 p.m.)
