1000 Brookside Drive has seen its share of restaurant and market concepts but we’re particularly excited about the latest rendition, which will host a grand opening event on Friday, June 9, 2022, from 4-9 p.m. What makes the latest version more noteworthy? In this girl’s humble opinion, it’s the leadership… steeped in deep hospitality industry experience.

Brookside Bodega is the work of three former co-workers at Raleigh’s The Pit Authentic BBQ restaurant: Lee Robinson (second from left), Jacob Paramo (seated), and chef Darrell Brown (right). The trio worked together from 2012 to 2013; Brown as executive chef and Paramo and Robinson as restaurant managers.
The group describes the new Brookside: “Where good hangs happen. Dope bar food, very drinkable drinks, baller patio + odds and ends to take home.”
