Haven Farm is hosting the grand opening of its new garden gift shoppe and venue space on Saturday, June 3! The day-long event will feature yoga; a petting zoo; bouncy house; food trucks; beverages; hay rides; live music and a DJ; and, of course, the chance to shop at the brand-new garden, gift, and apothecary shoppe.

Sports & Social Cary is upping the ante this weekend with not one, but two parties. Get Down and Derby at Dram 🐎
It’s time to break out those fancy hats! Dram & Draught’s annual Kentucky Derby watch party (Saturday, May 6, 3–8 p.m.) is always a fave for watching the “greatest two minutes in sports.” Festivities include a hat contest with prizes, special Derby drink specials (Mint juleps! Bourbon!), a DJ, and raffle benefiting North Carolina equine charity HORSEPOWER.

Celebrate the 149th Run for the Roses with big hats, bow ties, mint juleps, and live music from Keenan McKenzie & The Riffers feat. Laura Windley and special guest Xara Wilde at Watt’s & Ward’s Derby Party on Saturday, May 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best big hat for the women and best dapper for the men—so don’t be shy about your outfits!
