The NC State Fair Is Back!

Finally, after a full year of waiting for fried food galore, adrenaline-pumping rides, games and other activities, the NC State Fair has returned to the State Fairgrounds now through Sunday, Oct. 26! This year, expect over 80 new food items (think a chocolate-covered potato chip caramel apple, pickle fries, Hawaiian street corn, and BBQ doughnuts!), three new thrill rides, special events days, Grandstand shows, and so much more. Oktoberfest ain’t over yet! Trophy Maywood is hosting its annual Oktrophyfest on Saturday, Oct. 18. There will be live music from the Little German Band, oysters from Mera Brothers Oysters, multiple food trucks, inflatables and a kids zone, limited-release merch, and, of course, plenty o’ beer!
