Patio season is here and Downtown Raleigh’s rooftop bar, 10th & Terrace, is now opening at noon on Fridays and Saturdays! It’s the perfect way to start the weekend. Cheers! 😎
Our favorite whiskey bar is doing it big for the derby. Dram & Draught will have the race on the big screens inside and outside and juleps will be flowing all day long. A portion of each $12 Woodford Reserve Mint Julep sold on Saturday will be donated to Horsepower Therapeutic Learning Center and CORRAL Riding Academy. Let’s get dressed for the first time in a year and celebrate! Hats and seersucker are highly encouraged.
Head to Raleigh Beer Garden on Saturday at 11 a.m. for horse racing and Mint Juleps. There will be a contest for best hat and prizes will be given away throughout the day! The Kentucky Derby will be playing on all the TVs.
Nickelpoint will be serving their version of the Mint Julep (non-alcoholic version available) and awarding prizes for the best hat. This is an outdoor event and Covid precautions will be in place. Attendees receive a derby packet with tickets good for refreshments and derby dollars for wagering. Ticket sales benefit homeless pets and rescue horses.

Get your weekend started with oats and blueberries… in a beer, of course. Lonerider at Five Points is releasing their Pastel IPA with oats and blueberries on Friday and it is sure to sell out fast. Cheers!
