Dram & Draught’s annual Kentucky Derby watch party (Saturday, May 6, 3–8 p.m.) is always a fave for watching the “greatest two minutes in sports.” Festivities include a hat contest with prizes, special Derby drink specials (Mint juleps! Bourbon!), a DJ, and raffle benefiting North Carolina equine charity HORSEPOWER.

Celebrate the 149th Run for the Roses with big hats, bow ties, mint juleps, and live music from Keenan McKenzie & The Riffers feat. Calling All Craft Beer Enthusiasts, Brewgaloo Is Here!
That’s right, Brewgaloo, North Carolina’s largest craft beer festival and the second biggest in the U.S., is back! This two-day festival begins with a Friday Night Kick-Off Party on April 21 followed by the Saturday Street Fest on April 22. Saturday’s festival lines the streets of Downtown Raleigh with more than 110 North Carolina craft breweries, 50 local food trucks, dozens of local vendors, and multiple stages of live local entertainment!
