In case, somehow, you have not heard, on Saturday, Feb. 18, the Carolina Hurricanes will take on the Washington Capitals in the Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series contest at NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium. The game marks the first time the Canes will host or partake in an outdoor contest. Don’t worry if you are not able to snag tickets to the big game, there are events starting on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and running until days after the Saturday night game.

If you like your beer like you like the February forecast in NC (read: cold), you’re gonna wanna head to Raleigh Beer Garden for its Big Frosty Beer Festival on Saturday, Feb. 4! There will be more than two dozen breweries offering samples of over 50 beers, ciders, and ginger brews—plus food and live music from Mysti Mayhem & Pam McCarthy. Sounds pretty cool, right?!
Doughnut Stop Believing 🍩
5 miles. 12 doughnuts. 1 hour. The annual Krispy Kreme Challenge is back Saturday, Feb. 4! The student-run charity race benefiting UNC Children’s Hospital requires participants to run from the Memorial Belltower on NC State’s campus to the Krispy Kreme on the corner of Peace and Person Streets, consume a dozen original glazed doughnuts, then run the 2.5 miles back to the Belltower. Think you have the guts to compete?!
