Kiddos tired of the same three bedtime stories? It’s time to outsource the entertainment to the pros. 📖
The City of Raleigh Museum is transforming into a multicultural hub for the fourth annual International Children’s Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This isn’t just a trip to the library; expect a high-energy “musical book launch” where author Luke Vandergriff plays instruments made entirely of trash, alongside 11 local authors ready to sign copies and inspire your budding Hemingway.
Between the bilingual storytelling sessions, make sure to catch master puppeteer “Jeghetto” Pipkins, whose handmade creations are basically local legends. There are plenty of crafts and door prizes to keep the small humans occupied while you soak up the AC and culture in the heart of downtown.
