Friday: Celebrate NC State’s Homecoming with Food Trucks, Trunk-or-Treating, and Pure Wolfpack Pride

Red and White Week reaches peak energy right in the heart of campus, and everyone is invited to join the pack. 🐺❤

On Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, NC State takes over the Carmichael Gym outdoor basketball courts for HowlFest, the marquee community festival of Red and White Week. Bringing together students, alumni, and local Triangle families, the evening features live music, lawn games, inflatables, face painting, and even a festive trunk-or-treat for the kids.

Mingle with Mr. and Ms. Wuf, catch up with old classmates, and soak up that electric pre-game atmosphere before the Pack takes the field for Homecoming weekend. Admission to the festival grounds is completely free, with optional food and beverage tickets available if you want to sample local bites and sips while you hang out.
