Earth Day 2026: Happy Hour With a Side of Stewardship on Wednesday

Nothing makes a cold beer taste better than a little sweat equity and a cleaner neighborhood.

One of our favorite neighborhood haunts, Wolfe & Porter, is turning Happy Hour into “Helping Hour” for Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Instead of just sitting on the patio, they’re inviting the community to grab some gloves and hit Morgan Street for a collective cleanup. It’s a low-pressure, high-impact way to show some love to the corridor we all walk every weekend. They’ll provide all the gear—bags and gloves included—so you just need to show up ready to scout for stray cans and cigarette butts.

Once the sidewalk is spotless, the real celebration begins back at the bar. It’s the perfect mid-week reset: meet some new neighbors, get some fresh air, and toast to a Raleigh that stays as beautiful as a fresh pour. Think of it as “cleaning for your cocktails,” and honestly, the Earth deserves a round on us.
