Thursday Brings Big Jams, Gritty Riffs, and Rising Roots Rock to Kings

There is nothing quite like catching an explosive touring act in an intimate room before they start filling arenas. (My personal fave way to music.)

Mark your calendar for Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, as The Fitzkee Brothers roll into downtown Raleigh for their debut performance at Kings. Joined by standout guitarist Jaden Lehman—who has performed and recorded with Oteil Burbridge—the rhythm powerhouse of brothers Drew and Alex Fitzkee delivers an intoxicating blend of vintage roots rock, deep funk grooves, and spontaneous jam sessions.

Having already shared stages with legends like George Clinton and logged festival miles from Jam Cruise to Baygrass, this young power trio plays with the grit and polish of seasoned road dogs. It’s a prime excuse to post up on Martin Street, grab a drink, and dive into an evening of high-voltage musicianship.
