Ain’t No Party Like A Hopscotch Darty
Hopscotch Music Festival is back, Sept. 7-9! Very few three-day general admission and VIP passes remain, however, I am all about the day parties. It is a great way to check out some of Raleigh’s best bars and breweries (and even a university library), all before hitting the outdoor stages and clubs at night for the festival. Get your tickets and map out your weekend ASAP!
Talk Orchids to Me
It’s time for the seventh annual Triangle Orchid Society Show, ‘Fall for Orchids’, and honestly, I am mad I just found out about this event! This weekend, flower lovers are invited to the JC Raulston Arboretum to enjoy amazing displays filled with orchids from all around the world! You can also purchase plants from vendors and learn more about growing and blooming orchids from members of the Triangle Orchid Society.
Worth the Uber to Cary: Rock Your World
Head to Fenton in Cary on Sunday, Sept. 10, for a free live music benefit! It will be a full day of family fun, fundraising, live music, food, drink, and more, benefitting US Veterans Corp and Hope for Haiti Foundation! Bring your lawn chairs to sit back and enjoy the live music.

There is only one way to do a great “Wine Wednesday” and that is with a wine tasting at Killjoy! Join them on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. to taste and chat with Patrick Greene of Johnson Brothers – Mutual Distributing of North Carolina.
