I’ve kept this week’s edition short and to the point for y’all because I’m sure like our team is, many of you are ready to get things started in anticipation of this weekend’s Stadium Series happenings! But please, don’t forget to register to win a month’s pass to Row House Midtown, which happens to be my favorite current investment in myself. (And as Before Breakfast host and Tranquility by Tuesday Laura Vanderkam author insists, anything that happens three times a week is a habit, so I guess I’m finally a workout person. Let’s row, Raleigh!)
Rock You Like a Hurricane
I know, you know, but I couldn’t not, right? 🤔 Here is your quick-tap/quick-click guide to this weekend’s Stadium Series guides from all the top sources…
The Boys Are Back in Town
Do you know what the end of football season means? Baseball is baaaaaaack! NC State’s Pack 9 opens the season with a three-day homestand on Friday. (And there’s a new look at The Doak…)
Every Dog Has Its Day
Best Saturday afternoon ever? Quite possibly! Zin Yoga & Wine in Garner hosts puppy yoga on Saturday with a donations-based Slow Flow class with PUPPIES at 12:30 p.m. 🧘 (Puppies will be available to adopt, too, so head over to find your new best friend! 🐶) Freedom Beverage Company will also be there offering a free wine tasting alongside Groovy Kinda Grub food truck.
Slow Ride
Slow things down on Sunday morning and cruise into Cars and Coffee at 2333 Walnut Street in Cary. This event features an indoor and outdoor car show with some unique rides being shown off by collectors and enthusiasts.
Come Monday…
I hope you’ll be back at Carter-Finley Stadium for one more evening of hockey with NC State vs. UNC! The event is free, but please donate to help the non-funded student teams with the costs.
Friday Five: Clear Your Weekend Schedule
Football, Valentine’s Day, hockey—it’s about to be a busy couple of days and the fun kicks off in Cary this weekend… I know, I know, we usually try to stick to the Raleigh area but this is worth the drive. Without further ado, put your party pants on and open your Uber app—it’s time for your Friday Five!
But First… Whose House? Row House!
Our fave local real estate agents, Ryan Boone and Annie Meadows of Hudson Residential, are treating one lucky Raleigh Weekend winner to two one-month unlimited passes at Row House at Midtown East. That’s a value well over $200 for each pass!
