On Thursday, March 10, 2022, four Triangle-area arts councils and locally owned WRAL join together for Big Night in for the Arts to celebrate and support the arts community of our region. The live television event will feature performances from local and national talent (Ben Folds, Jaki Shelton Green, Jabu Graybeal, Nnenna Freelon, Hiss Golden Messenger, Mark Hewitt), address the impact of COVID-19 on the arts, and highlight the missions of the four organizations that lead and support the Triangle’s arts infrastructure. Funds raised will help local nonprofit arts and cultural organizations continue on a path of recovery and reentry post-pandemic.
