Saturday Spotlight: Seedlings and Street Tacos at Logan's Garden Shop

Nothing says “spring in the City of Oaks” like a trunk full of perennials and a face full of paint and/or powdered sugar.

Shake off the last of the winter chill and head over to Logan’s Garden Shop at the North Carolina Farmers Market for their highly anticipated neighborhood celebration. On Friday, March 27, 2026, and Saturday, March 28, 2026, the local favorite is hosting Spring Festival 2026 to welcome the new season with exclusive specials and a “get to know your neighbors” vibe.

It’s a full-blown block party for plant lovers, featuring live music from Sterling Scott, face painting for the kiddos, and a grill demo with plenty of hot-off-the-grates tastings. If you’re one of the first 200 guests to arrive, you’ll even snag a free four-inch plant to kickstart your 2026 garden. Between the Nova Dough doughnuts and the El Jefecito taco truck, you’ll have plenty of fuel to browse their fresh crop of spring blooms.
