On Friday, Oct. 30, HowlFest takes over the Carmichael Gym outdoor basketball courts for the marquee community festival of Red and White Week. Bringing together students, alumni, and local Triangle families, the evening features live music, lawn games, inflatables, face painting, and even a festive trunk-or-treat for the kids.

Mingle with Mr. and Ms. Wuf, catch up with old classmates, and soak up that electric pre-game atmosphere before the Pack takes the field for Homecoming weekend. Admission to the festival grounds is completely free, with optional food and beverage tickets available if you want to sample local bites and sips while you hang out.

On Friday, Oct. 30, the historic Chapel at Dorothea Dix Park is transforming into a massive pop-up roller rink for Skate Night. The early evening rolls are open to all ages (limited tickets remain), making it a solid excuse to get the whole family out of the house and moving.

As the sun goes down, the floor shifts to a dedicated 18-and-up session for the adults to take over the tunes (sold out). You can bring your own trusty pair of skates from home, or easily reserve a rental pair when you snag your tickets online.
